3. Worm Farm The health of the school’s worm farm
4. Food Garden The productivity and care of the school’s garden
5. EnviroQuiz/Art The school team’s scores in the EnviroQuiz/Art competition
6. Biodiversity Awareness of the importance of Biodiversity in flora and fauna at school
7. Water The use of water saving devices and the efficiency of water saving practices
8. Energy The use of energy saving devices and efficiency of energy saving devices
9. Awareness The effectiveness of environmental education and awareness in school community
10. Implementation The impact that learning at school has on implementation at home
11. Presentation The quality of the presentation by learners of the school’s environmental plans and achievements

The SANParks People’s Hut Trail And now “The Prize” The SANParks People’s Hut Trail
What will I experience? Table Mountain is our very own World Heritage Site and home to the famous Cape Floristic Kingdom. Table Mountain called ‘Hoerikwaggo’ by the Khoi-San is surrounded by a city and needs protection, love and care from the people living in the city if it is to survive.

Exploring the People’s Trail SANPARKS Environmental Trails
The purpose of the Trail is to enlighten, expose and instill appreciation for the natural environment in our youth.
The hike is over two days, starting at Constantia Nek Car Park and ending down Platteklip Gorge to the lower Cable way station. Table Mountain National Park guides will accompany your group and interpret the natural wonders and cultural sites on the mountain.
