Conquistador A conqueror (a person who takes over another land), especially the Spanish conquerors of Mexico and Peru in the 16th century.

Colonization The action or process of settling among and establishing control over the indigenous people of an area.
Expedition GOLD GOD GLORY A journey or voyage taken by a group of people with a particular purpose For example: Exploration, Scientific research, or War. GOLD GOD GLORY
Viceroy A ruler (someone in a position of power) exercising authority (Being in charge of) in a colony on behalf of a sovereign (In place of a ruler such as a king or queen) Example: The Governor of Texas being in charge of Texas, so the president of the U.S. doesn’t have to deal with the States individual needs.
