Why? How? What? Why do we have rules in life? How do rules get made? What are the rules?

My Ideal Class Number your post it notes #1-8 Answer the following questions (one on each post it, DO NOT copy the question, just fill in the answer. A student that is focused and engaged in learning will look/sound/feel like ____. A student that is respectful to others will look/sound/feel like ____. A student that is using what they have learned will look/sound/feel like ___. The most effective teachers are the ones who ____. The most helpful classmates are the ones who ____. One of my areas of strength in English class is ____. One of my areas of weakness in English class is ____.

My Ideal Class Walk around and put your post it notes with the corresponding question stem. Each group will be assigned a questions stem. Sort the post it notes into common ideas. Have one person write a summary sentence of the top 2-3 big ideas on the paper. Have one person present the consensus for your question stem to the class.
