1 Common Sense The fundamental knowledge about the Universe acquired over centuries

2 Technology The applications of knowledge for the benefit (preferably) of society

3 Scientific Method The methods aimed single-mindedly at understanding Basically to satisfy our curiosity about ALL aspects of our Universe and how it works
