Welcome Parents Mrs. Donohue’s Pre-Calculus Honors Semester 1 and to Mrs. Donohue’s Pre-Calculus Honors Semester 1 and DE Math 1011 (College Algebra)

ATTENDANCE It is extremely important students attend class and arrive on time. Students are only allowed five absences, excused or unexcused. Arriving tardy to class will result in a 0 on the daily math or homework.

GRADING Every homework assignment turned in will be worth 5 points. PowerPoints will count 5 points. Daily quizzes will count 1 point per problem. Tests will count 100 points each. The Final will be 200 points. Bonus points are not given in a college class.

GRADING SCALE A 93- 106 B 85- 92 C 75– 84 D 67– 74 F 66.00 and below

DIFFICULTY FACTOR This class has a 3 point difficulty.

MATERIALS TI30X2s (provided) pencils three-ring binder with loose leaf paper *NO ink pens or spiral notebooks. I do not grade work that is not in pencil.

MISSED WORK If a student is absent, it is that student’s responsibility to check the calendar to see what was missed. Students will be responsible for the homework or daily math if they are in class. Help is available every morning by 7:00 AM. They should SEE ME .

MISSED TEST Students will need to make an appoint to take a make-up test. Any test not made up before the next test date will result in a zero.

Students are given a course outline for the semester. A copy is available upon request.
