Introduction to Anthropology: An Alien Encounter

Let’s Review: Anthropology is the scientific study of the origin, the behaviour, and the physical, social, and cultural development of humans. An important question anthropologists seek to answer is: What makes humans human?

An Alien Encounter Pretend that an alien has landed on our school property! This alien is curious to learn about humankind. Form a small group with 3-4 of your classmates and create a web of ideas or a mind map to visually display the main characteristics, qualities, and capabilities of humans. Be prepared to present your ideas.
