HITLER AND NAZISM Hitler was born in 1889 in Austria.In the first World war he enrolled for the army as a messenger. In 1919 he joined German Workers Party. took over the organization and renamed it the National Socialist Workers Party. It came to be known as the Nazi party. In 1932,Nazi had become the largest party with 37% votes. On 30 January 1933 President Hindenburg offered the chancellorship to Hitler. On 28 February1933,He passed Fire Decree .suspended civic right like freedom of speech. Press. On 3rd March 1933, The enabling act was passed .This act established dictorship in Germany.

Nazi ideology There was no equality between people .Aryans were at the top of the society and Jews were in the lowest rank of the society. According to this ideology only strongest rule would be survived and the weak race had no right to live in the society. Hitler’s ideology related to the Geological concept of living space .He believed that new territories had to be acquired for settlement.

YOUTH IN NAZISM Youth organization was responsible for educating German youth in the spirit of National Socialism. 10 years had to enter Jungvolk. At 14,all boys had to join the Nazi Youth Organization .where they learnt to worship war, glorify aggression and violence ,condemn democracy and hate Jews. At 18, they had to serve in the armed forces . They entered one of the Nazi organization.
