(That’s why if you forecast for the class, you’ll have to take it.) Why Forecast? (Page 17*) Students’ choices help us decide what classes to offer. When you forecast, we create a spot in that class for you. (That’s why if you forecast for the class, you’ll have to take it.) This means….. put a great deal of thought into choosing your classes.

Forecasting: Forecasting Sheet a. On the front: select required classes (with teacher recommendation) b. On the back: select elective classes (X marks 6) (page #’s shown for course descriptions)* (EXPLORE! Be CURIOUS! TRY something NEW!) c. Also: select 4 alternate electives (A marks 4) Curriculum Guide* (purple book) a. Lots of Planning Info in the front b. Rules and procedures in the middle c. Course descriptions in the back

Required Courses in 9th Grade (Page 7*) English 9 (Standard or Honors) (2 TRI) World Studies (Standard or Honors) (2 TRI) Integrated Science (2 TRI) Algebra or Geometry (2 TRI, or 3 TRI Algebra) PE 101 (1 TRI)
