EMPLOYEES Putnam County Schools , based on the October FTE count, has 508 employees with 265 teachers and administrators. (Handout) Seventy eight percent of our faculty members have advanced degrees and an average of 15 plus years of experience. 98.4% of our teachers in our Title I schools are highly qualified and 99.3% of our teachers at PCHS are highly qualified. 12/15/2019 Putnam County Charter System

Challenges Forty eight (48) teachers have 25+ years of experience and can retire. Twenty one of our teachers are retired and are part-time Twenty six male faculty members (including para-pros) (Cited by civil rights as a priority for recruitment) Economic downturn may cause more employees to retire because they have had their two highest earning years Cut backs may reduce staff or restrict the hiring of new teachers 12/15/2019 Putnam County Charter System
