Question 1 Has your organisation moved any of its IT infrastructure/data to the cloud? Or how have you helped customer consider the move to the cloud. E.g: what was the driver and key aspects of that move?
Question 2 Overly restrictive governance policies can lead to a shadow IT environment in the organisation where employees use whatever technology will help them work more easily. How do you tackle this?
Question 3 Information Governance is critical to an organisation regardless of a move to the cloud. The volume and variety of data for example is ever increasing, as many industry commentators often remark upon. How do you currently manage your data environment and triggering events like investigations?
Question 4 Data security was often seen as a reason not to move to the cloud, it quickly became a key reason to move. Is the cloud generally accepted as a secure alternative to on-premises IT environments?
Question 5 Is the culture in your organisation regarding data and collaboration more geared towards business value or risk management? For example does the GDPR lead to a more restrictive environment or can innovation and a modern workplace be promoted in a compliance environment?
Question 6 Some of our customers keep everything forever or have nothing. Based on your experience where would you recommend organisations start their journey? What would be the first things to consider.
Question 7 Sometimes it’s difficult to talk about how information management should work for whole organisations, but once these are defined, the implementation of these in the cloud are easy. What was where the topic areas and how did you unlock and resolve these types of barriers in your organisation? Lessons learned? Do differently?
