What’s New at Round Hill?

What’s this? Someone’s coloured in our logo!

Round Hill Roses have been replaced! We know that you love getting rewards for your hard work. But we think we’ve found something even better!

Each colour means something different Each colour means something different. Part of the qualities of a super learner.

Reflecting. Daring. Persevering. Dreaming. Together. But what does it mean? Reflecting. Daring. Persevering. Dreaming. Together. Have a think over the weekend about how you would show your teachers that you have these values.

How does it work? You collect the colours! Aim to earn each value every week. Teachers will let you colour in your rose when they spot you doing one of the values. Children who have earnt 3 petals during the week will receive a Bronze sticker. Children who have earnt 4 petals in the week receive a Silver sticker. Children who have earnt 5 petals in the week receive a Gold sticker. These will be given out by class teachers at the end of the day on Friday. You will be asked in assembly to stand up in Friday assembly if you have earnt a Bronze/ Silver/ Gold that week.

The back of your planner will look a little different next week!

Wait…what? Will I still get a certificate from my teacher in Friday assembly? I like trying to earn that!

YES YOU WILL! Each week, Friday assembly will have a value theme. Class teachers will choose ONE person who has excelled in this value to award a coloured certificate to. Next week is REFLECTING!
