Lets try and compare our cheek cells to an onion cell! What is a microscope and how does it work? Lets try and compare our cheek cells to an onion cell!
What is the difference between each cell? Safety! The light bulb will get hot! (Obviously do not touch it) Task: Examine each different slide under the microscope and note down sketches of what you have seen. Can you compare the cells?
Electron Micrographs In order to get more detail than a normal light microscope, you will need to use an electron micrograph. They magnify objects up to half a million times bigger by using a beam of electrons to produce an image on a fluorescent screen.
