How do Hornets soar? They respect everyone! Show respect to people who don't even deserve it; not as a reflection of their character, but as a reflection of yours. How do Hornets soar? They respect everyone!

CANDY GRAMS— --Sweets for the Sweet-- October 21st- 25th Buy your friends a sweet treat to let them know you’re thinking of them. Cost is just $1 in the cafeteria every morning. They will be delivered on October 31st! Support the Robotics Club!

Breast Cancer Awareness Week October 28th -- November 1st.   Monday, October 28th  PINK OUT day.  Wear all pink.  Tuesday, October 29th  Wear Crazy Socks.  Wednesday, October 30th  Favorite College/Professional Sports Team  Thursday, October 31st  Spooky Color and Accessory Day  Students may accessorize with spooky themed attire, but costumes will not be permitted. Friday, November 1st  "Sweater Weather" Day.  Wear your fall-themed attire and sweaters (weather-permitting).

Scholastic Book Fair has Returned! Everyone is invited: all teachers, staff, students, and parents! Go home and share the excitement with your parents! Get your Christmas shopping done early! We look forward to seeing you at the fair! Monday November 4th – Friday November 8th

Science Club/Drone Club Come Fly with Us! Are you interested in learning to fly drones? Every Tuesday from 3:45 - 5:15. Enjoy science experiments and flying drones. All grade levels welcome!

Quidditch—Muggles Welcome! YMS Quidditch Club meets every Tuesday. Pick up a sports packet in the main office. Get that completed ASAP! Meet in room 204 in the media center right after school. Come “S.O.A.R.” with us!

YMS Tabletop Gaming Club Do you like to play games? Join the Gaming Club! Meet every Thursday in room 831 right after school until 5 PM. Make sure you have a ride home! Get a form from Mr. Sernaker.

It’s Boys’ Basketball Tryouts… Mon. Nov. 4th: 3:36pm – 6:30pm NO CUTS!! Tue. Nov. 5th: 3:36pm – 6:30pm 1st CUTS!! Wed. Nov.6th: 2:36pm – 5:45pm 2nd CUTS!! Thur. Nov.7th: 3:36pm – 6:30pm FINAL CUTS!! Fri. Nov. 8th: 3:36pm – 6:45pm First Team Practice!!! Meet in the middle of the courtyard. Have a completed athletic packet turned into the front office.

Girls’ Basketball Tryouts are coming soon… Oct. 28th, 29th & 30th – 7:00-8:30am Meet in the gym. Have a completed athletic packet turned into the front office.
