Student-Athlete Eligibility Why NP? Student-Athlete Eligibility All students are eligible for sports if they have: Minimum 2.0 GPA - Yes, 2nd semester of 8th grade counts! CIF approval if a transfer from another high school Current physical/athletic clearance on file

Athletic Clearance Why NP? Completed online Physicals are mandatory for all athletes valid for 1 year Must be completed before tryouts or 1st day of practice NPHS Athletic Physical Fundraiser dates: 5/9 & 5/11 (optional)

Fees Why NP? There are NO MANDATORY FEES to play sports at NPHS Teams may ask for a donation The money you contribute to your child’s athletic program goes directly to the team and benefits your child.

Athletic Department Expectations Why NP? Athletic Department Expectations All Student Athletes will: Be students first Maintain a positive attitude Work hard/Always do their best Communicate with their coaches Remember they not only represent themselves, they represent their team and school both on and off the field.

Hold Student Athletes to a High Standard Why NP? Hold Student Athletes to a High Standard Any student athlete suspended from school for a major infraction will also be suspended from their sport or activity for one calendar year from the time of suspension, and appeal to a Co-Curricular Committee.

Playing at the College Level Why NP? Playing at the College Level 2017-18: 36 Commits 2018-2019: 13 Commits so far
