IMAGE CONNECTION EXAMPLE (quote to describe the text) “ ‘Entailments are bad,’ “ I was advising him, when I slowly awoke to the fact that I was addressing the entire aggregation. The men were all looking at me , some had their mouths half-open. Atticus had stopped poking Jem; they were standing beside Dill.” ( description of how the author shows the development of a character) In chapter 15, Harper Lee uses this scene to show what Scout has learned from Atticus: how to stand up for others no matter their social class or situation in life.
