Digital Library Allows students and instructors to search, preview, purchase and then manage large collection of Pearson eText titles and media content User will be able to directly access their Digital Library using a personal computer‘s web browser or mobile device as well as via selected MyLab solutions.   Business Units will have the ability to pre-defined collections or allow individual users to expand their bookshelf by subscribing to additional eTexts via Pearson’s authentication and eCommerce systems.   Subscriptions to the Digital Library can be extended beyond the end of a given course, allowing the user access to Pearson content that continues through their collegiate education and during their careers.   A multitude of organizing mechanisms will be available for users to save their favorite searches, refer to their most recent searches, create study guides as well as organize their content.   Instructors will be provided with the option to share their recommended searches to the students in their courses, upload their own content and add eTexts to their personal bookshelves.    The initial Digital Library release will be released for BTS 2012 and will include, at a minimum, the ability for users to search across a library of eText titles, preview titles and then purchase a subscription.    Future releases will expand the capabilities to include features such as searching for Pearson media assets, collection personalizations and more.
