CONCLUSIONS 29/04/2008Simone Brusa, INFN sezione di Ferrara11 1.The problem of the Xpad-XMChit`s jumps between adiacent columns seems to be due mainly to a bad selection of the events with CTALK. The condition: if(z[i]!=0 && z[i]== z_CT[iMS]) cuts the events that have geometrical crosstalk between adiacent columns and rows of chambers. 2. Since the Xpad-XMChit distributions are almost the same (see slide 8), why the residual distribution it`s worse than before (same geometry, should be the same pad selection). It`s just related with the new more realistic binning than in the past? 3. Suggestion in order to unselect the pads at the edges of the chambers: To fix M2-M3 instead of M1-M5, in these way we don`t need to rebin 4.
