Centre of Expertise (OSKE) Program Earlier program period 1994-2006 New centre expertise program (OSKE) 2007- 2013 is a government’s special program agreeable to the law for development of the regions The Ministry of Employment and the Economy coordinates the program

OSKE program 2007-2013 21 Centers of Expertise coordinate regional projects which are financed 50% by the Ministry of Employment and the Economy and 50% by regions (cities, communities etc). In 2007 budged of these projects was 8,4 million €.

OSKE Cluster Program 2007-2013 13 National Clusters of Expertise are coordinated and financed (80%) by the Ministry of Employment and the Economy. The rest of the finance comes from regions (cities, communities etc.) Joint projects are favored and are coordinated by cluster coordinators. Volume of the joint projects was 2,6 million € in 2007.

The objective of the cluster is to support successful businesses and to link research to commercialization. Focus of action is on health and well-being companies, their business activities, growth and internationalization.”
