Proposal for establishing a new programme for Global Health Research Background: The “10/90 gap” (Norway: 5/90 ?) 2003: Working group established by Ministry of Health, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Education and Research - Report May : A small programme for global health research established by the Research Council of Norway –4-6 million NOK per year for 2 years 2004: The Research Council of Norway commissioned a new planning committee that was given the task to develop a proposal to a programme for Global Health research by November 1, 2004
