Chapter 13-1 Delayed Marriage – The tendency to marry at older ages. »1) Being single is accepted »2) College and career comes before marriage »3)People live together instead of getting married is now generally acceptedbut not by Mr. Brady. Remarriages –Marriages in which one or both of the partners has been married before. Blended Families – Families in which one or both partners bring children from a previous marriage into the new marriage. Two-income Families – Families in which both partners work.

Chapter 13-1 Single-parent Families – Families with only one parent, typically formed through divorce, widowhood, adoption by single people, and births to single women.
