New Licensing Scheme The Spyder Tool checks the license for features As of Spyder Tool 4.X and later There are two Spyder features SpyderProgrammable for the Lon Spyders SpyderBACnetProgrammable for the BACnet Spyders Spyder features are only available on WEBS branded JACE’s and Supervisor Engineering Demo’s W-ENG-AX-DEMO

Spyder-ILC The Spyder-ILC is an individually licensed controller Spyder-ILC controllers will accept a download from the Spyder Tool regardless of the brand of workstation/JACE In other words, features within the license are ignored The Spyder-ILC’s have the same OS number with an “-ILC” suffix Example: PUL6438S-ILC, PVB6436AS-ILC, PVL4022AS-ILC 20% adder per Spyder-ILC for licensing fee No one else in the industry offers a programmable controller that can be programmed on ANY AX front end! Like all Spyders, the ILC can only be sold to Honeywell ACS or ACI contractors
