3 What We Do The term Catalysis pronounced (ca·tal·y·sis) is borrowed from the world of science to signify an increase in the rate of a chemical reaction as a result of the action or use of a catalyst. A Catalyst is somebody or something that makes a change happen. Our catalyst is our unique approach to performance management and the catalysis is the reaction that occurs in the form of improved employee performance and results.

5 Background My purpose in life has always been to make the world of work better for people. Ive been fortunate to touch organizational lives as a manager, educator OD consultant and change agent for 25 years. I specialize in organizational, culture and process change initiatives designed to create strategic alignment, enhance employee performance and improve results. I received my undergraduate degree in Commerce from the University of Manitoba and my MBA from the University of British Columbia. I am a trained executive assessor with DDI, a certified COPC Coordinator and former Awards Examiner for QNET (Manitoba Quality Network). I have continued to expand my learning by serving as a sessional instructor in the areas of human resources and organizational behavior at the University of Calgary, University of Manitoba and Wilfrid Laurier University. Though involved in operations and human resources, my focus and passion has always been on the people side of change. I have accomplished this through strategic alignment, goal-setting, balanced scorecard deployment; employee engagement, process improvement and cultural transformation. I have worked with clients across a variety of industries including Insurance, Mining, Distribution, Call Centres, Pharmaceuticals, Air Transport and Managed Services. I serve my clients by assessing and aligning the complex connection between their organizational strategy, operational goal-setting, metrics, rewards and recognition and performance management processes. I continue working with them through implementation of complex changes that are truly transformative in their bottom-line results and levels of employee engagement and commitment. I have successfully led major change initiatives that resulted in strategic alignment, cost reduction, performance enhancement, process improvement and employee engagement for a variety of organizations. Three of these organizations have been recipients of internationally recognized quality awards.
