Classifications of allergic rhinitis Intermittent (seasonal - acute - occasional) Occasional symptoms lasting <four days per week or ≤ four weeks Persistent (perennial - chronic - long duration) Symptoms lasting > four days per week and > four weeks

New classification of allergic rhinitis: Severity - ARIA Mild Normal sleep Normal daily activities, sport, leisure Normal work and school No troublesome symptoms
