CTS* Project Regulation and Licensing Department Status July 20, 2012 Lori Hewig, IT Director and Project Manager * Construction Tracking System (formerly known as PICS)

Project Scope Design, develop and deploy a comprehensive electronic permitting and inspection system incorporating the architecture, infrastructure and database design of RLD’s IECC 2009 Energy Code “e-compliance” system. The consolidated system will replace the legacy unsupported KIVA system currently in use. Application includes modules for application administration, permit and plan review, inspections, and a citizens’ portal. Phase I: Perform business process analysis for the current KIVA application and develop the requirements and use cases for the CTS System. Phase II: Using the specifications gathered in Phase I, complete the build, test and deployment stages of the project. Phase III (added May 2012) : enhance base software for added functionality
