Project Goals Configure online renewals for the Real Estate Commission professions, starting with the pilot profession of “Education Sponsor” Upgrade RLD’s License 2000 © software suite to the next technological release, MyLicense Office (MLO) Modernize client/server technology with an n- tier architecture Expand online licensing and compliance capabilities

Project Budget Software: $45K for database and server licenses and SSL e-commerce certificate Professional Services: $51.4K for implementation services Hardware: $20K for Documentum © server, SAN expansion module, and laptops for Real Estate staff

Project Closeout Milestones Capability for professions in the Real Estate Commission to renew online Strict enforcement of business rules for license issuing Fine grain auditing of all transactions New application features to help streamline and automate licensing processes, such as configurable UI’s, expanded document handling, enforcement and case management, and role- based security with field level access management

Lessons Learned Ensure testing doesn’t always follow the “happy path.” Perform load testing for peak periods. Create more testing scenarios for processes involving financials. Host frequent face-to-face status meetings with key project stakeholders during implementation phase. Provide early exposure of new application to all users.
