2 Trusted Network $1.5M Laws 2007, Chapter 28, Section 7 (9) The trusted network project is in response to a the Department of Information Technologies (DoIT) need to implement: Data Center power re-circuiting, IT Asset Management, IT Security and IT Performance Monitoring.
3 Rationale for FY08 Appropriation Request The Department of Information Technology has the responsibility of building systems that can be leveraged Enterprise-wide including: Data Center Power Re-circuiting to ensure power stability and future expansion capability, Enterprise IT Asset Management for automated discovery, tracking and financial management, Enterprise IT Performance Monitoring to monitor the state’s IT physical environment, system optimization and quick problem isolation, Enterprise IT Security for protection, prevention, early detection and efficient remediation. The $1.5 M appropriation enables establishment of these Enterprise systems.
