Your next web page We will be using one final tool before moving on to Dreamweaver. DW will be our design tool for the rest of the school year. PowerPoint – Youll be making a web page using this presentation tool. Many people dont know that PP is a very versatile web design tool.

Deadlines Monday Monday, 9-21: Quiz on PowerPoint (see tonights homework) Tuesday Tuesday, 9-22: Your PowerPoint web site is due by the end of the day. Thursday Thursday, 9-24: Presentation of web pages Friday Friday, 9-25: Complete presentations

Homework – put in PSAs No homework tonight But be sure you will meet tomorrows deadline.

PowerPoint Web Site Topic: choose a historical event from the 20 th Century Make sure to narrow your thoughts. Chose one specific event. WWII is too large, but choosing a battle in WWII is good.

Requirements Minimum of 10 slides Slide 1 (Intro): Name, date, period, and title of presentation Slides 2-9: distribute information and media as appropriate Slide 10: Resources – list URL and web sites (hyperlinked) you used in your research and gathering media

Final thoughts Remember, you are the presentation. The PP youve created is merely a too used to present the information youre teaching. When you present, you will need to provide a printed copy of your PP. Choose handouts, not slides Choose 6 slides per page
