HISTORY OF ART. The image to the right are names of famous artiest between the years of the 1800 and 1900 century. These artiest are amazing and drew, painted, and colored multiple image. This artiest did not just draw and paint on paper or plaster they also would paint inside and outside of multiple building all over the world.

WHO CAN JOIN? Who can join? If you currently attend the Newell School district you can join one of the best art classes in the world with Paula Reedy. She teaches 6 th though 12 th grade art class. You get to show off all of your beautiful art and creativity in this class. Also one of the easiest classes ever to pass! To the right is a image of clay pots in the art show of 2013.

MAKING POTS. What exactly happens in this class most of the time. Making Pots Well most of the time we do sweet projects. Those projects consist anywhere from painting to making clay pots. In making clay pots or leaf you can make whatever shape you want and whatever color you want. Even add texture though feel or texture through the look of the glaze on the pot so that you can see it not feel it. To the right is a image of clay leafs. Some maple leafs some oak leafs

DRAWING PICTURES Drawing Images You get to draw images that sometimes have to be a certain color or size, but most of the time you get to draw images in what ever subject or image you would like to draw. You draw anything from you name in 3D to cartoon characters.

PAINTING IMAGES Painting Images Same thing with painting. You get to paint what ever you want just as long as it goes with the subject. For example colors have to be certain like opposites on the color wheel or light and dark colors.

WHAT TIME OF THE DAY? Time of the Day School starts at 8:00 and goes till 3:45. Each class is 1 hour long and there are 7 class periods in one day. Everyone gets a lunch break. Each teacher has one pep period in the whole day. When you go to class it depends on what grade you are in. The principle makes our schedule at the beginning of the year and that also depends on what that schedule says.

WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN ART CLASS Joining the Newell School art class. One of the reasons why you should join art class is so you can have fun and show all of your talent and actually get a grade and credit for it. Another reason why you should join is the great teacher Paula R. She is a great teacher in many ways and loves to work with kid. She make every thing so simple and you practically pick what you want for a grade by putting in lots or less creativity and effort.
