5) Why Harley and not another motorcycle brand. My dad had Harleys and Indians so that was an influence on me growing up. I owned other brands, mostly Hondas, but it took awhile to get the bucks together to purchase that first used Harley. 6) Of all the rides you've taken, which one stands out the most and why? Many rides stand out but I think the 100 th anniversary ride to Milwaukee and back was the pinnacle. Probably for different reasons than most people would imagine. The pageantry was ok but the experience of riding there and back with your wife, son, and a friend is like no other experience. The most memorable experiences were the small ones, like eating ice cream with elderly ladies somewhere in Nebraska. 7) What one ride do you want to take before you lower your kick stand for the last time? Australia, starting on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland and riding down to Sydney in New South Wales. 8) What ride do you look forward to every year and why? I have no specific favorite; any ride I take is a favorite. 9) What Harley model would you buy next and why? Another Ultra, Im spoiled. 10) Who's the most famous person you've met? Ive met many famous people, to name a few; Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, Max Baer Jr. (Jethro), Jonathan Winters, Evil Knievel, and Howard Cosell. How? I had a job in my junior college days as a parking valet in Palm Springs. Its not like we hung out together but you can get a flavor of what kind of people they are from how they treat service personnel. 11) Who's the one person you would like to meet & why? His holiness the 14 th Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso. Perhaps I could learn some patience and kindness during our meeting. He might even bless me and I can use all the help I can get.
