 Do students test better with traditional in- classroom teaching or better with online media  Compared students’ test scores of watching video on the projector and watching the teacher read in the classroom  Classroom teaching proved to be better ◦ 86% average for classroom ◦ 58% average for online media

 Effects of Online Instruction vs. traditional Instruction on Student’ Learning ◦ Education level of kindergarten through twelfth grade ◦ Used program named WebCT ◦ Showed how students online are away from instructors ◦ Overall shows traditional instruction class tested better then online instruction

 Two Methods for Assessing Critical Thinking in Computer Mediated Transcripts ◦ Used Practical Inquiry software ◦ Compared how students use critical thinking on two different softwares ◦ Used Practical Inquiry more successfully

 If students are taught through classroom teaching without interaction versus online media then they will comprehend the material better because it is a more personal way of learning

1. When other story was completed the second was read in from of the class 2. When story was finished being read students took the test 3. Test was obtained when completed 4. Graded tests 5. Compared results

 We did not track which students received each score  Compared results  86% average for in-classroom teaching  58% average for online mediated teaching  Graph 1 is each test score  Graph 2 is overall average
