The meaning of Educational Technology The use of technology to support the learning process. Also known as E – learning, instructional technology and learning technology. In its broadest term, the application of scientific findings in our method, process or procedure of working in the field of education in order to effect learning.

Education vs Instruction - process used to impart learning - enterprise of supplying the conditions which ensure growth or adequacy of life irrespective of age - act of imparting learning - act of providing activities, materials and guidance that facilitates learning in either formal or informal situations
