She was educated by nuns, roman catholic nuns, which helped her be the best writer she could be. Her first novel La Belle Bête was highly liked as well as criticized for its lack of conventional morality. Her bet novel was Une Saison Dans le Vie Démmanuel which was published in It was awarded the Prix France-Canada and the prestigious Prix Médicis. This brought her a much wider international audience. Guy Laliberté Guy Laliberté was born in Quebec City in By the time he was sixteen he wanted to pursue a career in performing arts after producing several high school events. After he graduated, he took part in a folk group called La Grande Gueule. Folk music lead him to performance. After quitting college he became a folk musician and a busker.
