PEP for EC Student

EC PEP Can be used for an EC student who is below grade level and/or made a Level I or II on the EOG. Serves as a bridge between the regular education and special education provided to a student in order to help the student meet the accountability standards. For students on the extension of the SCOS, the PEP serves as a bridge between all services provided in order to help the student meet the state accountability standards. For students who have additional needs beyond the IEP (such as a student identified in math, but is struggling with reading), the regular Tier I/PEP needs to be completed.

Special Note Directions have changed slightly. –Review the When –In addition to developing the PEP with the EC teacher, they also need to meet two additional times during the year. –WHY? To be sure the EC teacher and regular education teacher are collaborating.
