Your support is just as important as in the elementary school years! Help your child develop good study habits and time- management skills. Help your child choose a regular time for studying. Talk openly with your child about the importance of school and any problems or conflicts he may be having. Continue to set limits in such areas as the amount of time spent watching television, time spent at a part-time job, and curfew on a school night. Encourage your child not to be afraid to ask for help from the teacher or another student.
