An EQUILATERAL TRIANGLE! What is this shape? What makes this shape an 1. It’s a TRIANGLE. 2. All the sides are the SAME LENGTH.

A RIGHT TRIANGLE! What is this shape? What makes this shape an 1. It’s a TRIANGLE. It has ONE right angle.

An ISOSCELES TRIANGLE! What is this shape? What makes this shape an 1. It’s a TRIANGLE. 2 sides are the SAME LENGTH and one side is different.

NONE of the sides are the SAME LENGTH. What is this shape? A SCALENE TRIANGLE! What makes this shape a SCALENE TRIANGLE ? 1. It’s a TRIANGLE. NONE of the sides are the SAME LENGTH.

A TRAPEZOID! What is this shape? What makes this shape a TRAPEZOID? 1. It’s a QUADRILATERAL. 2. It has only ONE set of parallel sides.

A PARALLELOGRAM! What is this shape? What makes this shape a PARALLELOGRAM? 1. It’s a QUADRILATERAL. 2. Both sets of OPPOSITE SIDES are PARALLEL.
