® All Presentation Material Copyright Eurostep Limited The demo software The demo uses the following software –Poseidon Community Edition UML Tool (Java-based) –An exff DOS batch file to execute the transformation –A command line WinZip utility to extract the XMI file –Two exff XSLT stylesheets that perform the transformation One adds a DOCTYPE to the XMI file providing the second XSLT stylesheet with access to the DTD The second performs the actual transformation –MSXSL to execute the XSLT –Notepad to view and save the EXPRESS

® All Presentation Material Copyright Eurostep Limited Conclusions This demo shows the creation a small subset of EXPRESS using a UML tool The exff goal is to support all of the structures of EXPRESS –and the constraints that are possible The same EXPRESS can be modified and read back into the UML tool using EEP to create the EXPRESS as XML and the exff EXPRESS-to-UML stylesheets –Graphical EXPRESS also generates EXPRESS as XML!
