 My name is Muhammed Salim as you know. My class and I have been working separately on our IT unit on the Number 0. this our 5 th unit. It is amazing the way the ancients used numbers without the number 0.

 Now a days we use the number zero which is a numeral digit. Zero is not a proper number. Some people may think that the number 0 is a proper number and treated as a number, they are right, the only thing is that the number zero is a numeral digit, it is not a proper number. 0 it self is equal to nothing.  Like 2 – 0 = 2.

 Fibonacci was the man that brought the number 0 to Europe. This man brought it to Europe in the 5 th century. This was not the first place they used the number zero. The first place that used the number zero was India. {The ancients never used the number zero.

 Maths was one of the subjects that used the number 0. it was a subject that was used in the ancient times, in the 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd, 4th, 5 th until now. Math was developing through the year. Once decimals were invented, algebra was invented and patterns in math's were invented etc.

 The number 0 is an amazing invention. I think that the number 0 is one of the most common number used when it was invented, commonly used now and maybe commonly used in the future.  I first thought that how hard was it for the ancient people to use numbers without the number 0?  After this I have learned a lot about the number zero and how easy it became for people in this time.
