Standards-based Report Cards One part of a Standards-based Reporting System

Our Objective This presentation will give participants an overview of considerations as they move forward with a standards- based reporting system. It will NOT be everything you need to know to implement a SBR system tomorrow.

Considerations When creating and implementing a standards-based report card: Determine the purpose of the report card Establish that it is only one part of the reporting system Educate all on standards-based grading

Determine the purpose of the report card Why do you have a report card? Who is its intended audience? What information is it intended to share? After reflecting on these questions, create a card that is appropriate for its intended audience and purpose.
