Once there were ten men who were very ill, they had a disease called Leprosy. This meant that the nerves in their skin that helped that feel things weren’t.

The Ten Lepers 17: 11-19

One day, as Jesus was travelling, he met ten lepers. Their bodies were bandaged and covered with sores. They had heard about Jesus and wanted him to heal them. Jesus told them to go and show themselves to the priests.

As they walked along something special happened As they walked along something special happened. They started to feel better! They took off their bandages and could see that their sores had healed!

Nine of the lepers carried on walking Nine of the lepers carried on walking. But one leper ran back along the path.

The leper threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him. Jesus was pleased that this man had returned but wondered where the other men were. The others were too busy celebrating and did not bother to say thank you.
