Matthew 8: 23-27

Jesus and his disciples got into a boat. They were going to cross the sea.

Jesus took a nap The sea was calm. The waves rocked the boat back and forth gently as Jesus slept.

Suddenly a storm came up. The disciples were worried. Waves were crashing against the boat and the wind was howling.

The disciples woke Jesus up. They thought the boat was going to sink.

Jesus was not afraid. He told the disciples to have faith in God. Then Jesus stood up and told the storm to stop. The water was immediately calm.

The disciples were amazed. Jesus was so special that even the wind and waves obeyed him!
