What exactly is success? “To laugh often and much to win the respect of intelligent people, and affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.”

Well, now you’re here. Why would you stop doing what you’ve been doing? Keep on going!

What to expect… Schoolwork will be work. Pressure to have fun. Technicalities (Rubric style, citation, online homework, etc.)

What won’t you be prepared for? Professors. They make up their own rules. It’s your job to survive, no matter what. Sometimes the work will seem daunting and unnecessary. If it were easy, everyone would graduate with a 4.0!

Remember: You will face many obstacles both similar and different to your high school challenges, yet, you will overcome them. Thanks for taking the time to better yourself!
