Physical Activity Exploring music and movement to promote a healthy lifestyle. Thanks go to the Small Grants Awards Programme for making this possible.

Thank You A big thank you goes to the Small Grants Awards who enabled us to facilitate the introduction of such a wide variety of activities to the children of Leitrim Community Playgroup. These activities will continue to enhance the quality of physical action with this pre school.

Activity Ring O Ring O Rosies: Becoming familiar with music and movement, developing awareness of space, using both fine and gross motor skills and how to stay safe in own space. Jumping Jack: Becoming aware of rhythm and rhyme, developing early mathematical knowledge e.g. up, down, forward, back, and personal, social and emotional skills.
