Mastercard Priceless Commercials “Lights! Camera! Ads! One Creative team, one great idea, lots of hard work. The result? The priceless campaign, a Madison Avenue Cinderella Story. Nine years. 160 Commercials. A whimsical mix of emotion and commerce that will make you laugh and cry and quite possibly use your master card.” -master card website

Point of View  Someone you can trust  Master card is trying to relate to viewers lives  Camera angles are at eye level

Posture  People are playing baseball  Actors are young,  Casual  Realistic  Carefree  Carefree so that you are more willing to spend money

Position  Logo strategically placed at the bottom right hand corner at beginning of commercial  Position of logo is subtle  Uses bright colors to intensify master card image

Person  The person chosen to narrate the Mastercard Priceless Ad’s typically sounds like a normal person.  It is always a man  He has a casual tone  Does not have an accent  All American business man

Person Continued  The speaker is chosen to appeal to an audience who is the middle class.  The speaker is talking to an audience that deals with everyday situations, i.e. the home commercial

Appeals  Plain Folks Appeal: the commercials as a whole, always try to appeal to the common person.  Even tries to appeal to children with some commercials that seem to be magical and or animated.  This particular commercial is appealing to those who love baseball and demonstrate how the sport is with out borders.
