Operation types The wide range of machining methods and functions to operate with their parameters, allows you to create an optimal machining process Machining technological process window Operation selection window Operation groups

Tool assignment Supports a wide range of mill types, from the standard end milling cutters to the original ones; included with the six-parametrical determination of profile geometry. Type Common view Technological parameters Tool database Draft Geometrical parameters

Machining methods Machining process of a workpiece is represented as a succession of separate consequent operations; each of them provides transition of a tool according to the definite strategy. For each type of operation exist its own parameters of assignment of a machining strategy.

Machining methods For all waterline roughing methods, involved into the technological process, there is one list of approach points. This list contains coordinates, depths and the diameter of a tool for the drilling points. Users can independently enter in and delete points from that list. In the event that a workpiece has a cavity, machining of which is impossible without preliminary drilling, the system attempts to choose an appropriate point from the drilling points list. If the appropriate point is not found, the system determines drilling parameters and automatically enters such a point into the list. Automatic 2D clean pass allows you to avoid formation of islands of residual material. Machining by the cylindrical mill with this function allows reduction of the height of a scallop in corners. Clearance of an individual layer can be performed both, by spiral and parallel movements of a tool

Operation parameters Profile milling Waterline roughing Waterline finishing Plane finishing Pocket milling 3D-curve milling Management functions of technological operations parameters allow you to create an optimal processes of manufacturing of different types of details. Depending on the type of operation, geometry of a model and workpiece, the system performs automatic selection of machining parameters. Safe plane, Upper displacement, Lower displacement Stock, step and machining accuracy.

Feeding assignment In the system, for every type of rapid and work tool movements, its own feeding, which can be either constant or changing depending on the slope angle of every elementary section of a trajectory, can be established. Use of computational feeding allows considerable reduction of machining time and provides better tool work conditions. Types of feeding Image of a part of a trajectory for every type of feeding

Approach and retraction types Supports a wide range of types of approach and retraction in the area of a workpiece. At that, the speed of tool movement along the Z axis, during cutting-in, can be either constant, or gradually decreasing, what provides smooth transition to the required level. Approach type Retraction type

Machining with restricted areas Trajectory of machining without restricting model Trajectory of machining with restricting model There is the possibility to define arbitrary number of: restricted and allowed for machining areas; restricting models, e.g. fastening equipment; restricted for machining surfaces of the detail itself.

Built-in environment of 2D geometrical constructions Geometrical constructions environment offers an extensive range of types of elements and methods of their determination. The being determined 2D objects can be located in arbitrary planes. Modification of parameters of a geometrical element leads to automatic redefinition of the referred objects. Some additional parametrical links can be established between geometrical objects via variables and functions. Debugger window Means to connect to the coordinates of a 3D model

Machining along the defined contour Clearance in the defined area Rounding along the defined contour Pocket clearance Hole drilling Hole boring Hole drilling 2.5 coordinate machining By using the built-in full- functional environment of 2D geometrical constructions it is possible to obtain NC programs for 2.5 coordinate machining of a model without usage of an external CAD system.

Hole machining operation Every type of cycle contains its own set of parameters. Coordinates of drilling points are set up in the "Model" window, or automatically imported from a corresponding roughing operation.

Waterline roughing operation Machining trajectory forms up with respect to: Geometry of a model; Technological parameters; Machining strategy; Geometry of a workpiece.

Plane roughing operation top layer second layer automatic finishing of the shaded areas interlayer transition - cut-in along a spiral, zigzag cut-in, transition outside the workpiece size formation of a tool path with regard to the defined slope of a trajectory during the transition of a cutting tool into the detail.

Waterline machining Drive finishing

Waterline finishing Waterline finishing with regard to the scallop value Waterline machining with regard to the scallop value

Plane finishing Optimized plane finishing

Plane finishing Complex finishing Waterline finishing Complex finishing

Automatic identification of the unmachined areas Finishing operation after the previous ones Rest milling after the previous operations

Engraving Engraving of texts and drawings of any complexity. Flat curves, drawn in the built-in environment of two- dimensional geometrical constructions or imported from other systems are used as a model for engraving. Engraving module allows you to form a three-dimensional model, by the curves located inside the plane.

Automatic 3D corner finishing Engraving Side angle of a model does not necessarily have to coincide with the mill's angle. It allows you to perform rough machining of a detail by different types of tool. In order to obtain a high quality profile surface, when using a micro tool, engraving can be performed by waterline method.

Design-technological chart Detail mounting scheme List of used tools Operations succession Machining time Cutting tool draft A design- technological chart with an adjustment scheme, operations succession, list of used tools, and if necessary coordinates of points of preliminary drilling, forms up automatically. DTC is created in MS Word format and accessible for further editing.
