What is WEAT? An open association of water environment professionals, practitioners, operations specialists and public officials with a broad range of expertise working together to: –Meet the needs of its members for professional growth and development –Educate the public on water environmental issues –Benefit society through protection and enhancement of the water environment.

What is WEAT? A member association of the Water Environment Federation, which encompasses an international network of over 40,000 water environment professionals. A professional organization consisting of 1,500 members.

Who are Young Professionals? Individuals under 35 years of age that serve the water environment industry and that are employed by or study with utilities, consulting firms, regulatory agencies, or academic institutions.

Why Should YPs Join WEAT? Satisfy both personal and professional goals through networking and mentor opportunities. Develop leadership skills while accumulating a solid knowledge base. Enhance your career by projecting your experiences and accomplishments to your peers and the industry by presenting technical papers, serving on committees, or getting involved in technical event planning.
