Why save Energy? Join the pod resources were great for exploring Climate Change First we discussed why we should try to save energy, we decided that it was: 1. To save the school some money 2. To help protect our planet

Switch Off Fortnight Light Monitors in every class Traffic light system for switches and sockets Poster Campaign to raise awareness Split site energy challenge

Cross Curricular Links All classes got involved during the year with the project using the topic to deliver literacy, maths geography, PSHCE, science. Held Climate week and Waste week in March/April. Science for Schools -recycling clothing Building work - opportunities

Getting down and dirty… Forest school projects Y3 and Y1 Trees for Dorset project for all year groups Allotment at local army camp

No escaping the message… Even the after school ‘Show Club’ continued the eco message with a show all about saving the planet Great songs, strong message and the kids loved it!

And now… The TIDKIDS baton has been passed on to Year 2 We have taken delivery of 2 Eco-Houses Joint project with our partner school in Newton Tony, Somerset.
