Voluntary Contributions 2012: CHF 35.3 M 2013: On-track to match 2012 Strong indication of donor confidence/greater investment reflects increased: costs of hydromet impacts / hazards awareness of chronic underfunding over many years awareness of socio-economic benefits.

WMO Voluntary Cooperation Programme (VCP) VCP Support during 2009 – 2012 CHF 30M in individual projects in 78 Member countries; 83 % of all the requests received supported; Regions I & II benefited most (most requests) Focus: expert services; short-term fellowships and training activities; surface observing; telecommunication systems; CDMS and climatological activities; hydrological activities.
