Early life Patrick was born on May 29,1736 at Studley Farm. Patrick’s parents were Sara and John Henry. He was the second child of eleven. He studied at a one room school, and his father taught him too. His favorite subjects were math and history. He loved guns and hunting more than books. He liked fishing ; he would sit by the creek for hours. When he was 15 he worked as a clerk in a country store. After a few years no body came. They had to close.
