ATP:  Adenosine triphosphate.  Has unstable phosphate bonds.  Used by cells as an energy source for cellular activity.  Produced mainly from the process of cellular respiration.  Eukaryotic cells which require a lot of energy, will have a lot of mitochondria (site of cell resp.)
