Course Objectives ~Extend understanding of the measurement of variation & use normal distributions ~Recognize different function patterns in numerical & graphical data and interpret and construct appropriate symbol representations modeling those data patterns ~Represent, analyze, and solve problems in situations involving sequential and recursive change ~Standardized Test Review (Keystone/SAT)

What do I need for this class?? ~3 ring binder with three sections (Lessons, MORE problems, Toolkit) ~Plenty of pencils ~Lined & Graph Paper ~Book cover ~Calculator

Grading System -Tests 50% -Quizzes 25% -Graded Assignments 20% -Mini-Quiz 5%

Assessments *Test 50%-One or two per unit *Quiz 25%-One or two per unit *Mini-Quiz 5%-One or two per unit

Assignments Graded Assignments 1) MORES 2) Class work 3) Daily HW Average Homework -Is checked several days a week. -Average of 10 homeworks calculated as a graded assignment

Attendance -You are responsible for all missed work (See class filing bin) -If truant from school or class - you may not make up missed work.
